VisiScript was a free and versatile cross-platform text editor designed for programmers, offering IDE-like features and a graphical frontend. It supported various scripting and programming languages, including JavaScript/QScript, Python, Ruby, Perl, and more.

It utilized the built-in QScript (JavaScript) interpreter or external interpreters such as Python, Ruby, and Perl (which were not included with the base application).
