Never forget the important dates in your life with Event Countdown Widget! This handy home screen widget helps you organize and track the days leading up to Christmas, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, vacations, anniversaries, or any other special events you want to remember.

This is a convenient countdown widget designed for your home screen, ensuring you're always aware of upcoming events. It displays the number of weeks, days, hours, or minutes remaining until (or since) a specific date. Add multiple countdown widgets to your home screen and easily customize them to your liking. You can also export and import widget data for backup and sharing.

To get started, simply set a title and date for your event. You can even import events directly from your Google calendar, automatically filling in the title and date. Further customize your widget with these optional settings:
- Set a specific time for the event
- Customize the counter and title background and foreground colors
- Choose from over 140 unique icons to represent your event
- Adjust background transparency (0, 80, or 100%)
- Select from six different counting modes:
-- Day: Counts only the days remaining (time is irrelevant, defaults to 00:00)
-- Hour: Counts only the hours remaining (uses both date and hour)
-- Automatic: Defaults to days, switches to hours on the last day, and then minutes in the final hour (uses date and time)
-- D-H-M: Counts down in days, hours, and minutes simultaneously (only available for 3x1 widget size!)
-- Week: Counts down in weeks
-- W-D: Counts down in weeks and days
- Set a reminder with a custom sound
- Set the event to repeat daily

Choose from three widget sizes:
- 1x1: Displays only days, hours, or minutes based on the chosen counting mode.
- 2x1 and 3x1: Similar to 1x1 but with larger fonts and pictures.
- 3x1: Supports the D-H-M counting mode, displaying days, hours, and minutes simultaneously.

Resize widgets on Android 4.1 and above to customize their layout. (Watch the instruction video for a demonstration!)

Available in multiple languages, including Hungarian, English, German, Italian, Czech, Slovak, Romanian, Russian, French, Portuguese, Turkish, Dutch, Arabic, Chinese (CN/TW/HK), Spanish, Polish, Norwegian, Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian.

◄ HOW TO USE ►
Remember, this is a widget, not a standalone application! Widgets are small applications that reside on your home screen or lock screen. Adding a widget is easy:
1a. On your Home screen, press the menu key and select Add (or tap and hold on an empty area). Choose Widgets from the popup menu.
1b. Alternatively, go to your All Apps and select the Widgets tab.
2. Find and select the Event Countdown Widget to add it to your screen.

- If you can't find the widget, try reinstalling and restarting your phone. Also, some phones install apps to the Phone Storage (or SD card) instead of Internal Storage. Move it to Internal Storage in the apps manager.
- Task killers or memory cleaners may interfere with the counter.
- Widget resizing issues on Android 4.0 or below are due to Android limitations. Widget resizing is only fully supported on Android 4.1 and above.
