LoTW Look eliminates this daily chore. The app allows you to seamlessly browse and search your LoTW QSL confirmations directly from your Android device. More importantly, it offers automatic notifications, alerting you the moment a new QSL confirmation is available. This means you'll never miss a confirmation from a rare DX contact again – a notification will appear directly on your phone or tablet.
To utilize LoTW Look, you will need your existing LoTW website username and password. The application periodically accesses LoTW web services using these credentials to fetch and collect your QSL data. Please note that LoTW Look is purely a viewing and notification tool; it does not support uploading logs to Logbook of The World. You must have an active Logbook of The World account to use this app.
Designed with efficiency in mind, LoTW Look is remarkably lightweight, with a typical installed size of under 3MB, including the database for recent QSLs. You can customize the polling interval for new confirmations to be "never," or set it to check every 4, 6, 12, or 24 hours. To further conserve battery life, polling is intelligently deferred when your device is in sleep mode.
LoTW Look is completely free to use, with no data collection, data sharing, or advertising. Your LoTW credentials are used solely for updating QSL data from Logbook of the World. The source code for LoTW Look is available under the BSD "2-clause" license on GitHub.
