The Description of WiGLE WiFi Wardriving

Site Editorial Commentary:Network stumbling and WiGLE.net database access for Android

Discover and map the world's wireless networks with WiGLE WiFi WarDriving, an open-source network observation, positioning, and display client connected to the world's largest queryable database of wireless networks. Since 2001, WiGLE has been collecting and mapping network data, amassing over 350 million networks.

Use WiGLE for site surveys, security analysis, or friendly competition. Collect network data for personal research or contribute to the global WiGLE database by uploading to https://wigle.net. Please note: WiGLE is *not* a list of networks you can use to connect to the internet; it's a tool for mapping and analyzing wireless network locations.

Key Features:

* Utilizes gps to estimate the geographical locations of observed networks.
* Logs observations to a local database, allowing you to track the networks you've found.
* Upload your findings and compete on the global WiGLE.net leaderboard.
* Displays a real-time map of discovered networks, overlaid with data from the entire WiGLE dataset.
* Completely free, open-source, and ad-free. Contributions are welcome via pull requests at https://github.com/wiglenet/wigle-wifi-wardriving.
* Exports data to CSV files on your SD card (comma-separated values).
* Exports data to KML files on your SD card for import into Google Maps/Earth.
* Supports Bluetooth GPS through mock locations.
* Provides audio and Text-to-Speech alerts, with a "Mute" option to disable all sound and speech.
