It delivers measurements and observations from official meteorological stations of the National Meteorological and Hydrological Service of Croatia (DHMZ), adhering to World Meteorological Organization standards, alongside data from numerous other European meteorological services.The application features radar precipitation imagery and expert prognoses from DHMZ, previously exclusive to Croatian radio, television, and Croatian Auto Club (HAK). HAK traffic information, including live video streams from various Croatian regions, is also integrated.
Distinct from typical weather apps relying solely on computer-generated numerical weather forecasts, HRT METEO utilizes experienced meteorologists who analyze current conditions and numerous atmospheric model calculations to produce forecasts for regions, urban areas, and marine environments. The app promptly delivers severe weather warnings, often within minutes of the DHMZ meteorologist's initial forecast.
