Bakka-Hana is a simplified version of Hana Awase without yaku, making it ideal for beginners.
Hachi-Hachi is considered the most complex and strategic Hanafuda game. It features a standard mode where six players determine the starting player, and a two-player mode. Sudaochi is a variation of Hachi-Hachi.
Rokuhyakken is played with two players (eight cards on the field, eight in hand) or three players (six cards on the field, seven in hand). It is known as "Sanbyakken" (or "Changa") in the Kanto region.
