Legal Information: A Verizon standard monthly postpaid account on an eligible device, or an invitation from a Verizon account holder, is required to use the Verizon Smart Family app. Verizon postpaid mobile plans include basic Verizon Smart Family location sharing features at no additional cost. For enhanced features such as location sharing and alerts, parental controls for calls, texts, and online activity, driving insights, and roadside assistance, upgrade to Verizon Smart Family Plus ($14.99/mo until canceled). Roadside assistance is provided through Signature Motor Club, limited to 4 events per year. Verizon Smart Family app download is required. The service does not monitor calls or texts sent over the internet and does not contact 911 for crash or SOS alerts. Push notifications must be enabled to see when new members join the family account. Some alerts are sent via text message; message and data rates may apply.
