It is currently available in 22 languages: Arabic, Bengali, Bulgarian, Danish, English, Farsi, Finnish, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Urdu, and Welsh.

Stay Alive is an award-winning app, thoughtfully designed and developed by the charity Grassroots Suicide Prevention, with clinical expertise provided by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The app's content was carefully developed through extensive consultation with local focus groups of people with lived experience, a dedicated team of mental health professionals, and an online survey involving over 300 participants. Since its initial launch, Stay Alive has undergone numerous updates, continually improving its functionality and user interface based on ongoing user testing and feedback.
