Root Call SMS Manager is a powerful Android application designed to block unwanted incoming and outgoing calls and SMS messages effectively.

Some features of this application require root privileges. However, call blocking functionality is available on Android 8 and above without root access.

This app provides support for Dual SIM smartphones, allowing users to manage blocking parameters for each SIM card individually.

Blocking is implemented at the system level, ensuring that the program doesn't miss the initial call, the screen remains off, and no dialer window appears.

For calls, you can choose to block using either the "Reject" or "Not to answer" method. For SMS, you can set a text filter (if no filter is set, all SMS from the specified number will be blocked). Use the ";" symbol to separate multiple filters. If you place a "!" symbol at the beginning of the filter field, all SMS messages that do not match the filter will be blocked.

To filter numbers, create a list and set it as the current list.

The "Not to block" mode disables all blocking functions.

The blacklist blocks all numbers added to it, with customizable blocking parameters for each number.

The whitelist blocks all numbers not in the list, using the blocking parameters from the list settings.

Exception numbers are processed according to their specific rules, regardless of the current list settings.

When adding a number to a list, you can use templates ("?" for any single character, "*" for any number of characters). To block hidden numbers, leave the number field empty. Regular expressions are also supported (must start with "^" and end with "$", available only in the full version).

You can also use schedules to activate specific lists at set times.

Limitations of the free version:
- Maximum of two entries per list (templates, all contacts, all non-contacts, and numbers containing letters are allowed). Contact groups and exceptions are not supported.
- The scheduler feature is unavailable.

Tasker Integration: To use with Tasker, add "To start the application" as a task, select Root Call Manager, and enter a list name in the data field. This will set the chosen list as the current list.
