IMPORTANT:
Due to recent changes in Google's SMS permissions policies, import functionality may be restricted on Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo devices. Other phone models are generally unaffected.

HOW TO USE:
1. Export your SMS messages from your Windows Phone using:
* 'contacts+message backup' app for devices WITHOUT an SD Card
* 'contacts+message' or 'Transfer my Data' app for devices WITH an SD Card
2. Copy the exported files (VMSG or MSG) to your Android phone via USB, Bluetooth, or other convenient methods.
3. Launch the 'Import SMS from Windows Phone' application.
4. Grant the necessary permissions for the application to function correctly.
5. Tap 'Import messages' to initiate the file search.
6. The app will proceed as follows:
* 6.1. If multiple files are found, a list will be displayed. Select the desired file to read.
* 6.2. If only one file is found, it will be read automatically.
7. Choose whether to import from specific numbers or import all messages.
8. For Android 4.4 and higher, approve the prompt to set 'Import SMS from Windows Phone' as the Default SMS App during the import process.
9. Wait for the restoration to complete. Once finished, revert the Default SMS app setting back to your preferred messaging application.
10. Open your Android message box to view your imported messages from Windows Phone.
