Troubleshooting recurrence notifications:

If you are not receiving recurrence notifications, please follow these steps:

• Notification settings:
Launch the app, tap the settings icon (gear icon after the title), select Notification settings, and ensure that "Display notifications" is activated.

• Auto-start settings:
Verify that the app is configured to start automatically. Otherwise, the recurrence notifications will not be scheduled after your device restarts.
Open the side menu (by touching the icon before the title with the three horizontal lines) and select "Set automatic start."
A list of apps will appear, each with a switch to enable automatic startup. Locate "Namedays and Birthdays" and enable the auto-start setting.

Namedays and Birthdays helps you stay informed about the Saint of the day and which of your contacts are celebrating a nameday or birthday.

The application features a constantly updated database of over 1600 Saints, complete with cross-references between English names and the names of the Saints (e.g., San Giuseppe corresponds to Joseph).

For quick access to the Saint's day information, add the Namedays and Birthdays widget to your device's home screen from the available widget list.

This widget displays today's date, the Saints of the day, and the number of events associated with contacts in your phone book. It automatically updates at midnight to ensure the data is always current, even if your phone remains powered on continuously.
