ℹ️※ What is a .nomedia file?
A ".nomedia" file is a simple file that tells the Android media scanner to ignore the directory it's located in, as well as all its subdirectories. This prevents the media scanner from reading media files (images, videos, audio) and providing them to other apps (Gallery, Music Player, Video Player, etc.) through the MediaStore content provider. This is useful for hiding unwanted media from appearing in your media apps.

If you want to scan all the photo/image/music/video on your device; or if your Gallery or Media Player is displaying unwanted or redundant media files, this app can help you manage and organize your media library.

note:
The primary function of this app is to prevent unwanted media files from appearing in apps that rely on the MediaStore, such as Gallery or Play Music. It is NOT a file hiding or privacy protection tool, as files may still be visible in file manager apps.

ℹ️※ How to use:

1. The app scans picture, video, and audio files from the MediaStore and file system, categorizing them by folder.

2. Setting a folder to "ON" prevents the media scanner from indexing media files in that folder. Setting it to "OFF" allows scanning to resume.

3. In the list view, tap the folder preview to view folder details.

4. In the grid view, tap the file preview to play the media file.

⚠️ Warning: This app may NOT function correctly on all devices. There have been reports of automatic file deletion on SOME Samsung devices. We recommend testing the app on unimportant folders/files first to ensure compatibility.
