**GAME SET-UP:**
The Mancala board consists of two rows, each with six pits (small, round holes), and a larger store (oblong hole) at each end. The game begins with four marbles placed in each of the twelve pits.
**MANCALA GAMEPLAY:**
On your turn, select any pit on your side of the board. You will then 'sow' the marbles by distributing them one-by-one into each succeeding pit in a counter-clockwise direction around the board until you run out of marbles. This distribution is a key element of Mancala gameplay.
**CAPTURE:** If the last marble you sow lands in an empty pit on your side, you capture all the marbles in the pit directly opposite it on your opponent's side. These captured marbles are then placed in your store.
**FREE TURNS:** If your last marble lands in your own store, you earn an extra turn!
**AND THE WINNER IS...**
The game ends when one player has no marbles left in any of their pits. The other player then gets to add all the marbles remaining on their side of the board to their own store. Strategic planning is crucial at this stage.
The player with the most marbles in their store at the end of the game wins!
