MengDian is a comprehensive offline dictionary app for Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Hakka Chinese, featuring stroke order animations. It offers a vast database accessible without an internet connection, perfect for language learners and native speakers alike.
Umfassende Analyse
MengDian provides a valuable resource for anyone studying or using Mandarin, Taiwanese, or Hakka Chinese. Its key feature is offline accessibility, allowing users to look up words and phrases without an internet connection. The app includes a substantial database of entries across the three languages, along with stroke order animations for common characters. While the app's functionality is robust, the user interface feels somewhat dated. Improved search capabilities would also enhance the overall user experience. However, the breadth of content and offline functionality make it a useful tool.

[About the Name]
The dictionary is named "Moedict" with the intention of restoring the original meaning of "萌 (meng)" to "beginning," "the people," and "the initial sprouting of plants," rather than solely its more recent popular meaning of "moe."
