The Description of Solitaire Pro
Site Editorial Commentary:the classic solitaire game.
Solitaire Pro: The timeless card game, also known as Klondike, now on your mobile device!**Rules and Basics:**
**The Object:** Your goal is to build four stacks of cards, one for each suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades), in ascending order, starting with the Ace and ending with the King.
**The Table:** Solitaire Pro uses a standard 52-card deck. The game begins with 28 cards dealt into seven columns, also known as the tableau. The first column has one card, the second has two, and so on. Only the top card of each column is face up; the rest are face down.
Four Home (or Foundation) stacks are located in the upper-right corner. This is where you build the ordered suit piles to win the game.
**How to Play:**
Each Home stack must start with an Ace. If no Aces are visible, you'll need to strategically move cards between columns to uncover them.
Cards can only be moved between columns in descending order (King to Ace), and with alternating colors (red and black). For example, you can place a 10 of hearts (red) on a Jack of spades (black), but not on a 3 of diamonds (red).
You can move entire runs of cards between columns if they are sequentially organized and follow the color rule. Simply tap the deepest card in the run you want to move, and drag the entire sequence to another column.
If you run out of moves, Draw additional cards from the deck in the upper-left corner. If the deck is exhausted, tap its outline to reshuffle it.
Move a card to a Home stack by dragging it, or by double-tapping the card.
**Scoring:**
In Standard scoring, you earn five points for moving a card from the deck to a column, and 10 points for each card successfully placed on a Home stack.
Games completed in under 30 seconds earn bonus points based on completion time. The bonus is calculated as: 700,000 divided by the total game time in seconds. The highest possible Standard score is 24,113!
Customize the scoring system via the settings button to match your preference.
