The Description of Freebloks
Site Editorial Commentary:Freebloks 3D - Android version of the famous Blokus board game
Dive into Freebloks, the Android adaptation of the captivating board game Blokus! Your objective is to strategically position as many of your tiles on the board as possible, adhering to two fundamental rules: each new tile must touch at least one corner of your existing tiles, but must never share an edge with them. Challenge yourself to outmaneuver your opponents and dominate the board!RULES:
Each player begins with a set of 21 tiles, comprising varying shapes and sizes: 12 five-square tiles, 5 four-square tiles, 2 three-square tiles, 1 two-square tile, and a single one-square tile.
Players take turns strategically placing one tile at a time onto the 20x20 game board. The initial tile for each player must be placed within their designated corner of the board. Subsequent tiles must connect to a corner of one of their previously placed tiles, while avoiding any edge-to-edge contact with their own tiles. However, tiles can share edges with opponents' pieces.
If a player is unable to make a valid move, they must pass their turn. The game concludes when no player can legally place any remaining tiles.
At the end of the game, each player's score is calculated by summing the squares of all their tiles on the board. A bonus of 15 points is awarded for successfully placing all of one's tiles. Moreover, a 20-point bonus is granted if the single-square tile (monomino) is the last piece placed. The player with the highest total score emerges as the winner.
