"Category Quiz" is an engaging trivia game that challenges your knowledge across various categories. Answer questions by category and test your expertise in a fun and interactive way. With over 10,000 questions available in both English and German, you'll never run out of brain-teasing challenges.Since Version 2.0, "Category Quiz" has integrated Google Play Games, allowing you to compete with players worldwide through a global highscore list. Unlock achievements and earn experience points as you climb the ranks. Log in with your Google account to enable these exciting features.
Version 2.1 introduced "Image-Questions," where you must rely on a displayed image to find the correct answer, adding a visual twist to the quiz experience.
Version 3.0 added a Multiplayer mode, allowing up to 4 players from around the world to compete against each other. (note: Multiplayer-Mode is not available from 03/31/20 because Google shut down the Google Play turn based multiplayer service.)

Singleplayer-Mode:

If you answer all questions correctly in a category, you receive 100 extra points. Completing the second category earns you 200 extra points, the third 300 extra points, and so on.
If a question is answered incorrectly, the category becomes "locked," preventing you from answering further questions in that category.
When using the question timer (which can be enabled/disabled in the game options), you have 30 seconds to answer each question. The faster you answer, the more points you earn (3 points for every remaining second). You can also use 3 Jokers for assistance: 50:50, stop timer, and new question.
In a "quick game," 6 categories are chosen automatically.
In a "normal game," you can select your favorite 6 categories.
! IMPORTANT!
You have the option to enable/disable the display of the correct answer when you answer a question incorrectly in the "options" menu. You can also adjust the duration for which the correct answer is displayed.
