**Supported Instruments:** piano, Flute, Violin (beta), Acoustic guitar (beta). Currently, the app supports solo instruments only; bands and orchestras are not supported.

**Key Functions:**

* **Transcription:** Transcribe YouTube song covers, microphone recordings, and audio files to sheet music instantly.
* **Multiple Views:** View the transcribed music as a classical score, piano roll, or guitar tab.

**Limitations:**

* **No Instrument Separation:** The app cannot separate multiple instruments in a recording. Recordings with multiple instruments playing simultaneously will result in poor transcription.
* **No Live Recognition:** Melody Scanner doesn't offer live note recognition. It requires processing time to perform frequency analysis and display the results.
* **Not 100% Accurate:** The app may not detect every note perfectly, and some incorrect detections may occur. However, the accuracy is highly dependent on the quality of the input signal.

**Why Create an Account?**

Creating an account ensures that only you can access your sheet music. The transcription process requires significant computing power, which is handled by powerful cloud servers. The same account can be used to access your sheets from the desktop version.

**Free vs. Premium:**

* The transcription process is resource-intensive and relies on cloud servers. Purchasing PREMIUM supports ongoing development and maintenance.
* The FREE version supports microphone and YouTube transcriptions. Uploading your own audio files is a PREMIUM feature.
* The FREE version limits sheets to 40 bars (approximately 2 minutes). Upgrading to PREMIUM unlocks full sheet length.
* PREMIUM subscriptions can be canceled at any time, with continued access to PREMIUM features until the end of the subscription period.
* All songs transcribed during a PREMIUM subscription remain unlocked even after the subscription ends.
