ScanMyOpel Lite: Your Gateway to Opel/Vauxhall Diagnostics

ScanMyOpel Lite is a demo version of the ScanMyOpel software, designed for Opel/Vauxhall enthusiasts who want to diagnose their Vehicles. This app allows you to delve deeper into your car's systems and understand potential issues.

Key Features:

* **Multi-language Support:** Available in English, Russian, Hungarian, Polish, German, and Finnish.
* **Comprehensive Diagnostics:** Supports Engine, ABS, Automatic Transmission, SRS, Power Steering, and BCM diagnostics.
* **Native ECU Support:** Provides in-depth diagnostics by directly communicating with the Electronic Control Units (ECUs) used in Opel/Vauxhall vehicles, unlike generic OBDII scanners.
* **Real-time Monitoring:** Allows you to monitor various dynamic parameters from your engine, transmission, ABS, and other ECUs.
* **Data Analysis:** Read static data such as ECU identification, fault codes with their current statuses, and related symptoms.
* **Fault Code Management:** Clear fault codes to reset your car's systems.
* **(Full Version Feature):** Display environment information and nominal values for live data parameters related to trouble codes.

Limitations of the Demo Version:

* No active diagnostic procedures.
* Limited display of trouble codes (one at a time).
* Limited number of monitored parameters (2-5).
* Only one actuator test procedure available.
* No additional information on fault codes and live data parameters.
* Advertisements are displayed.
* Inability to erase trouble codes on ECUs other than the Engine ECU.

Fault Code Status Meanings:

* Red: Present
* Yellow: Intermittent
* Green: Not Present

Actuator Tests: During actuator tests, you can monitor live data parameters. Each test lasts 30 seconds but can be stopped at any time.

ECU Type Detection: The app automatically detects the ECU type.

ELM327 Interface Compatibility:

ScanMyOpel supports ELM327-based Bluetooth/WiFi interfaces on all Android devices. However, compatibility issues might arise with some noname ELM327 interfaces. If you experience connection problems, please provide log files for troubleshooting.

Recommended ELM327 version: 1.4/1.4+. Proper connection with Chinese versions of ELM327, other than 1.4 is not guaranteed. Recommended interface - ObdLinkMX. Avoid cheap Chinese v2.1 ELM adapters as they often do not work properly.

Troubleshooting and Support:

For any issues, save the log and send it to [email protected] for troubleshooting. You can enable logging and send logs from the app's menu.

Important note:

Connect pins 7, 3, 12, and 8 in your ELM327 interface. On some models, AT/ABS diagnostics may be connected to pin 3 or 12 in the OBD plug. Since ELM only uses pin 7, you might not connect to other modules.
