Feed the monster was funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the EduApp4Syria-competition. The original Arabic app was developed as a joint venture between Apps Factory, CET – The Center for Educational Technology, and IRC – The International Rescue Committee.

Feed the Monster was adapted to English by Curious Learning, a non-profit dedicated to promoting access to effective literacy content for everyone who needs it.
