Dam Haji is a captivating two-player traditional board game, recognized as one of the exciting variations of Checkers/Draughts. In this game, the promoted piece is highly regarded and known as "Haji," which gives the game its distinctive name.
The objective mirrors the standard Checkers/Draughts: strategically capture all of your opponent's pieces or skillfully force them into a position where they have no legal moves left. Explore three thrilling modes: the Standard mode (Dam Haji), the Giveaway mode (Dam Suap), and the Kapit mode (Dam Kapit). Choose to play on 8x8 (24 pieces), 10x10 (40 pieces), or 12x12 (30 pieces) board sizes. Customize the rules to match your preferred gameplay style before diving into any match. The game allows you to compete against the Android AI (CPU) or enjoy a friendly match with someone using the same device.
*****The game rules can be changed using the Options menu*****
The default game rules are as follows:
* Captures/jumps are mandatory
- (Uncheck "Force Jump" in the Options menu to disable this rule)
* The promoted piece (aji) can move and capture across any number of free spaces forward or backward (aji terbang)
- (Uncheck "Long Move" in the Options menu to disable this rule)
* There is NO jump/capture priority between the promoted piece and the normal piece.
- (Check "Greedy Jump" in the Options menu to force the promoted piece to capture first)
note: The Greedy Jump rule is only available in v2.0 and later.
