Live streaming of channels is available without registration. However, creating a free Rai account and logging into the platform (ACCESS section) is required to access full on-demand content and use personalized services such as Continue Watching or services available in the MY LISTS section (Saved, Rated, Recently Viewed).
Registration for RaiPlay – available on mobile app and web – is free and secure. Rai protects your data and will not share it with third parties. On the TV app, you can log in but not create a new account.
To log in to the RaiPlay TV app, you have three options: associate your TV by scanning the QR code displayed on the TV screen with your smartphone or tablet where you already use the RaiPlay app. Alternatively, associate by entering the numeric code displayed on the screen in the "Associate TV" section of RaiPlay (accessible on the mobile app from More > Settings > Smart TV and on RaiPlay browsing from the Support menu > Associate TV). You can also choose the standard login process and enter your Rai account credentials (email and password) on the TV.
The functionality is available in multi-user mode for family and friends.
note that only a portion of the content available on RaiPlay can be accessed from abroad: the live stream of Rai News24 and the on-demand catalog of works for which Rai holds the related IP distribution rights.
