How to Use SatFinder:

1. **Enable GPS and Internet:** Ensure that GPS and Internet access are enabled on your phone. GPS signals are typically weaker indoors, so move near a window or outdoors for optimal location accuracy. The app should quickly locate you; if you encounter a ‘no location’ message, verify that all necessary features and permissions are enabled.

2. **Select Your Satellite:** Once your location is identified, choose your desired satellite. Tap the magnification glass icon to access a list of all satellites with an elevation angle above zero degrees. Note that the satellite name does not affect angle calculations; the satellite's position is the crucial factor.

3. **Interpret the Data:** The app calculates the azimuth, elevation, and skew angle for your location and selected satellite. A compass below the calculated values graphically represents the azimuth angle, adjusted for magnetic inclination. Calibrate the compass each time you use it. Align the front of your phone so that the green and red indicators on the compass overlap, indicating the correct direction to the satellite. A green phone azimuth value confirms accurate alignment.
