Site Editorial Commentary：A full-fledged baseball scorebook app is finally here. It can be conveniently used for amateur baseball at all levels, from grass baseball to high school and college baseball.

"Scorer" is a comprehensive baseball scorebook application designed for Android, allowing you to meticulously record and analyze baseball games with ease. Input plays quickly and efficiently to generate Waseda-style scorecards. The app automatically calculates a wide range of statistics, from basic metrics like hits, batting average, strikeouts, and walks to advanced stats such as RBIs, batting average with runners in scoring position, earned run average, putouts, and assists – all calculated accurately according to the rules.

From creating team rosters to inputting plays and player substitutions, all the way to the end of the game, the app is designed for user-friendliness. Whether you're currently keeping score by hand or looking to start scoring, we encourage you to give it a try.

Created scorecards can be displayed in a web browser for easy printing and sharing. It is specially designed to centrally manage scores taken by multiple people (devices) and easily share and view them with the entire team (or the entire league consisting of multiple teams).

You can share player profiles, game results, and statistics within your team or publicly using the "Scorer Team Page Service" (currently in trial).

There is also a function to provide live updates of games in progress.

You can view game results in a list, as well as individual and team statistics. Use "Game Categories" to display lists based on various criteria, such as "Specific Opponent Team," "Summer Tournament," or "Practice Game."

It supports official rules as well as various special rules for recreational and youth baseball:
- Tiebreaker
- Designated Hitter (DH; for one team only)
- Extra Hitter (EH; for one team only)
- Game end at any point (called game)
- Change before 3 outs
- Re-entry of retired players
- Skipping batting order

The basic functions cost 1800 yen (in-app purchase), but you can use all functions for free until you have saved 5 games. Please try it out thoroughly.

"Scorer" is supported on devices with Android 5 or higher.
