Taximeter: A universal and customizable taximeter app designed for taxi drivers and ride-hailing professionals.

This app offers a flexible solution for calculating fares, accommodating various tariffs and calculation methods. It's a tool designed to empower drivers with control over pricing based on their specific needs. We aim to provide a versatile tool, not to dictate operational procedures.

The application comes pre-loaded with sample tariffs that can be fully customized. Tariffs can be configured with a minimum cost, and rates for distance, travel time, and waiting time. The minimum cost can be calculated based on time, distance, or a combination of both.

Distance and time can be considered jointly or individually, with a configurable minimum speed threshold to differentiate between movement and standstill. note that the minimum speed impacts joint calculation (time will not count when speed is above the threshold). Kilometers and minutes can be charged at variable rates, such as a higher initial rate that decreases after a set distance.

At the end of each trip, the app provides a detailed breakdown of the fare, allowing drivers to clearly explain the charges to passengers. Additional services with fixed prices can be added and activated during the ride.

A key feature is the ability to switch tariffs mid-trip, such as changing from a City to a rural tariff when leaving urban areas. Note that certain parameters, like the "minimal salary" settings, remain consistent with the initial tariff.

Important: This app requires a device with gps for accurate distance calculation. If distance is not being tracked, ensure that your GPS is functioning correctly, if necessary, use a GPS testing app.

Taximeter is optimized for tablets and is resource-efficient, ensuring smooth operation even on less powerful devices. The user interface is customizable with various skins (color themes) and font sizes.

The app includes a widget that can be displayed on top of other applications, providing quick access to taximeter functions. The widget's position can be adjusted as needed.

Shift tracking is included. Shifts start automatically when a trip begins and end with a tap of a button.

Optionally, distances can be calculated in miles (1609.344m).
