This app is a digital director's viewfinder, designed to display the precise field of view for your future shot. Simply select your camera model from the menu and adjust the focal length of the lens using the wheel.

Magic ViewFinder also simulates the use of tele adapters or anamorphic lenses on your camera (accessible via the menu). You can also choose the aspect ratio of the frame guide overlay from the menu.

Enhance your preview by applying commonly used color presets (LUTs) to the live picture, bringing you even closer to the final shot's look.

Save your preferred views for future reference, complete with essential data, including focal length, tilt and roll, date and time, and camera/lens information.
While capturing a photo, you have the option to lock exposure and toggle autofocus to gain greater control over the captured image.

Initially, a continuous, medium-speed, center-based autofocus is active to ensure your images remain sharp. You can tap the screen to focus on specific subjects. Long-click to revert to continuous AF.

If your real camera's field of view exceeds that of your device's camera, Magic ViewFinder intelligently adds 'padding' around the image, compensating for the device's limited scope. This innovative solution, pioneered by Magic ViewFinder, has been adopted by other viewfinder apps.

Keep in mind that the position of your Android device corresponds to the 'nodal point' of your actual lens, located approximately in the lens's center. This point represents the optical center.

Depth-Of-Field (DOF) Tool: To assess depth-of-field, tap the DOF icon and calculate the near and far limits of DOF while adjusting the aperture and focus distance.
